GE Fanuc IC693CPU360 is a central processing unit (CPU) 360 module. It has 240 KB of configurable user memory. This is a single-slot CPU module with 4096 discrete I/O points on eight racks. The typical scan rate for a CPU 360 module is 0.22 mS per 1K of logical memory. Although the module does not have a built-in serial port, it can use a connector on the PLC power supply. The module has RAM and flash memory, and like other IC693 modules, it is compatible with firmware v.10.60. The device is compatible with GE Fanuc's 90-30 series. When this CPU is used for entry-level applications with a low amount of I/O, the CPU is embedded in the backplane. This makes all sockets available for input or output use.
