The IC694MDL753 is a discrete input module that is part of the PACSystem RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) family, previously manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms and recently acquired by Emerson Automation. The module is a high-density digital output module with thirty-two (32) output channels, divided into four (4), each group of eight (8) channels.
Each channel of the module produces an output voltage range of 10.2-28.8 VDC, with a nominal value of 12/24 VDC. It supports only positive logical wiring configurations where the positive terminal from the output channel is connected to the positive terminal of the connected load. Each channel produces an output current of 0.5 amps, with a maximum current of 4 amps per group and 3 amps per group of common pins. Each channel generates a surge current of 5.4 amps for 10 milliseconds, with a on-voltage drop of 0.3 VDC and a turn-off leakage current of 0.1 amps. The response time for each channel is 0.5 ms
The module is equipped with 32 individual status leds that indicate the power status of each output channel. To establish module connections, the module is provided with embedded pins compatible with two 24-pin male connectors (Fujitsu FCN-365P024-AU). User-built cables are also available for flexibility, or with pre-wired cables with catalog numbers IC694CBL327 and IC694CBL328.
The IC694MDL753 occupies a single slot in the chassis and can be installed into any available slot, either in a local or remote I/O rack. When the CPU switches to STOP mode, all the output of the module is powered on.
