Enhance monitoring by extending sensor life
The Hydran M2-X, the next generation of the field-proven Hydran DGA monitoring solution family, continuously monitors gas and humidity levels to alert users to failures and minimize the risk of unplanned downtime. The M2-X builds on GE's strong domain expertise to deliver optimized, low-maintenance monitoring equipment and extended sensor life.
The Hydran M2-X also offers a UL certified HazLoc version (Part number: M2-X-HZ) for installation on transformers located in hazardous sites designated as Class I Zone 2
The Hydran sensor can be used as a conventional Hydran composite gas (H 2, CO, C2H 2, C2H4) sensor or as a separate pure hydrogen (H 2) sensor. In addition, it tracks the moisture in the oil (in %RH and ppm) and is compatible with various transformer oil types (standard mineral insulating oils and newer natural and synthetic estersester-based fluids).
