The VMIC VMIVME-7697 single-board computer is a dual-slot VME module powered by a Pentium II MMX 500 MHz processor and utilizing 132 MB RAM. As shown in the figure, the device has multiple front panel interfaces and LED indicators, including parallel ports, USB ports, and SVGA.

The VMIVME-7697-550 module is part of a group of devices originally produced by General Electric's Industrial Automation division and later by Abaco Systems as a VMIC unit. These models are part of a series of converter boards.

In particular, the VMIVME-7697-550 module has several components, such as the dual-slot VME module, which is capable of holding up to 512 megabytes of SDRAM memory and has a Pentium III, 850 MHZ processor unit.
