General Electric Multilin's UR-8SH is a CT/VT module designed to be installed in the general purpose relay family. It provides the relay with 1A/5A ground CT and 3-1A/5A phase CT, allowing the relay to reduce current and voltage ratings to values that enable the relay to monitor these system conditions and output data for the user to view. This data can then be used for protection system functions performed by the relays themselves. This data can be viewed via the relay's LCD screen or more efficiently via Multilin's EnerVista UR software program.

EnerVista UR also allows for efficient configuration of the Settings associated with CT/VT modules, allowing highly customized schemes to meet the unique needs of each user's system. In addition, EnerVista UR's streamlined design allows users to easily view data in a beautiful, well-laid out user interface. Viewpoint UR Engineer EnerVista also has a drag-and-drop environment for quick debugging of relays and related modules.
