The GE Fanuc STXDNS432 interface module is a network interface module for GE intelligent platform devices. It is a positive logic I/O module with 16 positive logic inputs and 16 positive logic output points. It operates with an input voltage source rated at 24 volts DC. The DeviceNet protocol is an industrial networking protocol used with the application layer. The main function of the DeviceNet protocol is to relay information between different connected devices at high speed. The DeviceNet protocol transmits information in bytes. The STXDNS432 interface module runs in Bit Strobe, Polling, Cyclic, and COS modes. There is a rotary switch on the front panel to switch between different node addresses. The module uses DeviceNet's dedicated pin cable and supports different data speeds. The module supports up to 32 additional modules.
