The Field Control IC670MFP100 microfield processor is manufactured by GE Fanuc in the Field Control product line. It provides local input and output logic in a field control station with a bus interface unit and up to 8 modules. This MFP module supports up to 7 I/O modules. It is compatible with Logicmaster 90-30/20/Micro software, IC693PRG300 handheld programmer, BIU Firmware version 2.0, and 90 Series communication protocols. It consists of a central processing unit and a backplane circuit for communication. The module's CPU contains an H8/3003 microprocessor and a non-volatile user flash memory with 6K word storage. The CMOS RAM of the CPU is equipped with a capacitor that provides data retention in the event of a power failure.

The IC670MFP100 micro field processor features standard field control connectors, 15-pin D-shaped female connectors for CPU series ports, and 4 status indicator leds to visually indicate CPU and I/O status.
