The GE Fanuc IC200PWR201 power module supplies power to the backplane, input and output (I/O) modules, network interface units (NIU), and central processing unit (CPU). Unlike other Versamax power modules, this module neither isolates nor expands the power supply. It can be used as the main power supply for backplane devices in I/O stations, or as an auxiliary power supply in larger input and output applications. The input voltage range of the IC200PWR201 power supply module is between 9.5 and 15 volts DC and 12 volts DC nominal voltage, and the output voltage is 5 volts or 3.3 volts DC. It has a rated input power of 11 watts and a hold time of up to 10 milliseconds.

The GE Fanuc Versamax IC200PWR201 power module has a surge current rating of 12 amps at 25 volts DC and 15 amps at 30 volts DC. The device plays an important role in protecting the system from overload, short circuit and reverse polarity. Its total output current does not exceed 15 amps. With an output voltage of 3.3 volts DC, the module can produce up to 0.25 amps of output current, while an output voltage of 5 volts DC will produce 1.2 amps of current minus 3.3 volts of voltage.
