The IC200MDL743 is a discrete signal output module in the General Electric VersaMax family. The device has 16 output points, each point can be negative logic type or perfusion type. The output point on this module switches the load to the negative side of the DC power supply (also known as the return side), thus receiving the current from the electrical load.

The IC200MDL743 will require an external power supply for all output load switching. The device operates in two modes, each with its own voltage requirements. In standard 12/24 voltage DC (VDC) mode, the output voltage ranges from 10.2 to 30 volts DC, with nominal voltages of 12 and 24 volts DC. In 5VD-TTL (transistor-transistor logic) mode, the output voltage is 4.75 to 5.25 volts DC, and the nominal voltage is 5 volts DC.

Each output point on the module can handle half the current in 12/24 VDC mode and 5 mA in 25VD-TTL mode. When operating at 30 volts DC, the output leakage is 0.5 mA current. The maximum on/off response time for each output point is 0.2 ms and 1.0 ms, respectively.

IC200MDL743 does not support hot derating. The module also does not have any channel or point isolation, nor does it provide protection such as internal fuses. All processing of the 32-bit discrete output information is handled by the central processing Unit (CPU) or network interface Unit (NIU).

The IC200MDL743 is 4.3 inches wide, 2.63 inches high and 1.956 inches deep. Note: Carrier height and mating connectors are not included in these specifications.
