The IC200MDL644 split input module is a 5/12 volt DC Versamax positive/negative logic input module designed by GE Fanuc. The input to this module can be used as either a positive or a negative logic input. The IC200MDL644 Versamax discrete input module has 4 input groups, each with 8 discrete inputs. It can receive or send current through an input device that can be connected between the common terminal and the input terminal. It is recommended that the input be configured with negative logic for compatibility with TTL devices. It also provides input response time configuration capabilities and software configurable filtering times of 0 ms, 1.0 ms or 7.0 ms.
The IC200MDL644 discrete input module is suitable for use with various input devices to transmit data to the system. The intelligent processing of the received data is done by the CPU connected to the module. The module offers 0 to 15 volts DC and 5/12 volts DC input voltages, 1.8 MA user input current, and 2.4k ohm input impedance. Users can connect each set of inputs to either positive or negative logic, and all groups have a common connection. During the installation, ensure that the onsite power supply of the module is disconnected. The common terminals of the module will be grounded. The IC200MDL644 discrete input module has an on-voltage of 4.2 to 15 V DC and a turn-off voltage of 0 to 2.6 V. The midplane provides power for module operation. At 140 V output voltage, the backplane current consumption is up to 5 mA.
