The IC200MDL636 is a 48 VDC plus/minus logic input module manufactured by GE Fanuc for the VersaMax family with 32 points. The IC200MDL636 provides four sets of discrete inputs. Each set of inputs can be either positive or negative logic inputs. The positive input logic receives current from the input device and returns current from the common end, while the negative logic input receives the same current from the common end and returns the current to the input device. The input device is connected between the input terminal and the common terminal. The number of points that can be switched on at the same time depends on factors such as the external voltage, the orientation of the module and the DIN rail, and the ambient temperature.
