GE Fanuc's IC200MDL631 input module is a Versamax series input module. The module has 8 isolated input points and supports both positive and negative logic operations. The inputs on the IC200MDL631 input module are isolated from each other, they are not grouped like the inputs or outputs on some other GE Versamax modules. These isolated inputs are discrete inputs. When the inputs on the IC200MDL631 isolated input module are configured to run as positive logic inputs, they receive currents from different input devices and return them on return. When the inputs on the IC200MDL631 input module are configured as negative logic inputs, they work in the opposite way to positive logic inputs, they receive the current from the return and then return it to the input device.


GE Fanuc Versamax IC200MDL631 Isolates the input module with which the input device interacts connected to the Versamax PLC or programmable logic controller system between the input terminal and the return terminal. The power supply for the IC200MDL631 input module comes from the system backplane, which receives intelligent processing from the PLC's NIU or CPU. The input module provides a maximum of 8 bits of discrete input data. The LED on the IC200MDL631 input module is the "OK" LED and the LED for each input point. An "OK" LED lets the user know if the backplane power supply is connected to the module, and a separate input LED lets the user know which leds are powered on and off. The input LED lights up only when the backplane power supply is connected to the module.


The IC200MDL631 is a discrete input module manufactured by GE Fanuc for the Versamax family. The IC200MDL631 provides <> discrete remote inputs, which can be positive or negative logic inputs.
