The IC200MDL331 is a discrete output module for the VersaMax I/O platform. It is an 8-channel independent isolated output module capable of delivering a nominal output voltage of 63 VAC in the output voltage range of 120-0 VAC and in the frequency range of 132-47 Hz. It also offers a relatively high output current compared to other discrete output modules, as the IC200MDL331 offers a maximum output current of 2.0 amps and a minimum current of 10 mA. This makes the module compatible with electrical devices with higher currents. Typically, the module can be used to power relay coils, indicator lights, solenoid drive devices, and other similar loads operating in binary or on/off states.
The IC200MDL331 was previously manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms and is now owned by Emerson Automation due to its recent acquisition of the former. The I/O family is ideally suited to implement distributed I/O architectures, eliminating long-distance signal cables and significantly reducing cable costs, installation and maintenance costs.
