The IC200MDD845 is a combined I/O module that is part of Emerson Automation's VersaMax product family. The module is used as part of a VersaMax distributed I/O station or as part of a VersaMax control system using a native CPU module. As a combined I/O module, IC200MDD845 has 24 input and output channels, of which 16 input channels support positive logic wiring and accept a nominal signal voltage of 24 VDC. Eight Type A or normally open (N.O.) contact outputs rated at 2.0 amps support conduction of 5/24/125 VDC and 120/240 VAC nominal voltages, allowing voltage ranges of 0-125 VDC and 0-265 VAC. The IC200MDD845 has a maximum backplane current consumption of 270 mA.
Each input and output channel is assigned a separate LED status indicator, allowing local monitoring of the drive and power-on status of each module channel. There is also a normal LED on the module indicating that the backplane power supply continues to supply power to the IC200MDD845.
