The IC200ERM001 is an isolated expansion receiver module designed by GE and is part of the VersaMax family. When used in PLC racks or I/O stations, the IC200ERM001 module must be supplemented by the Expansion Transmitter module (ETM001). The IC200ERM001 is equipped with leds to indicate the status of the power supply and the status of the expansion bus. The backplane has a maximum power consumption of 5V output and an output voltage of 3.3V.

The IC200ERM001 has two female D-case ports with 26 pins. The upper port receives the cable from the expansion transmitter, while the lower port is designed to Daisy chain the I/O bus cable to the next expansion rack or to connect the terminator plug located on the last rack. The working power supply of the module comes from the installed power supply. If the extension rack contains a power booster bracket and an additional rack power supply, it must be connected to the same power supply on the module.

The IC200ERM001 should be installed in the left-most slot of the rack. The module must be attached to the DIN rail at the left end of the extension frame. When selecting the ID of the expansion rack, use the rotary switch under the access door of the IC200ERM001 module. All I/O and communication modules can be used to extend the rack. All power supplies must be turned off when removing modules from the expansion rack.
