The IC200CPUE05 is a GE CPU designed for the VersaMax family. The IC200CPUE05 has a built-in interface and can be used as a system controller for up to 64 modules and up to 2048 I/O points.

The IC200CPUE05 has two serial ports that are software-configured for SNP and RTU slave stations, serial I/O operations, and local station manager operations (port 1 only). When either port is used for RTU, it needs to be automatically switched to SNP slave mode. If IC200CPUEO5 is in stop mode and the CPU is configured for serial I/O, the port is automatically returned to the SNP slave station.
