The GE Fanuc IC200CHS101 module is a disconnected plug-in I/O terminal module in the Versamax product line. The IC200CHS101 module provides an interface between the field wiring and the connector type I/O carrier. The IC200CHS101 module provides disconnect options for field devices connected to the Versamax I/O module. Each device connected to the I/O module can be disconnected individually when its associated signal or return switch is turned on. In this way, specific inputs and outputs can be taken offline without changing the wiring of the system. The IC200CHS101 module is the main base, which provides terminals corresponding to the "A" terminal on the I/O module. The IC200CHS101 module has a J1 connector for connecting to a connector type I/O carrier via cable. Compatible cables include IC200CBL105, IC200CBL110, and IC200CBL120 cables.

The IC200CHS101 module also has a J2 connector for connecting to the disconnect base, the IC200CHS102 module. The IC200CHS101 module measures 115 x 65 x 126 mm. The IC200CHS101 module provides connections to terminals A1 to A18 on the A side of the Versamax connector. The IC200CHS101 module has a separate knife switch disconnecting device for each common and signal terminal and the corresponding pin on the cable connector. Each terminal on the IC200CHS101 module can accommodate solid copper wire with a cross-section of 0.2 to 4.0 square millimeters or stranded copper wire with a cross-section of 0.2 to 2.5 square millimeters. When using 2 wires, rigid or flexible wires with a cross section of 0.2 to 1.5 mm square can be used, and stranded wires with ferrule can be used, but plastic bushings with a cross section of 0.25 to 0.75 mm square cannot be used. The recommended terminal torque for screws is 0.5 to 0.6 N-m.
