The IC200CHS015 is a spring type plug-in I/O terminal that provides an interface for connector type I/O carriers to field wiring. It was manufactured by GE Fanuc for the Versamax family. The IC200CHS015 is equipped with a connector for connecting cable with connector type I/O carriers and 36 spring clip terminals.

The device has a transparent protective hinged door covering the terminal. Each I/O module is equipped with a foldable plate that can be inserted into this door. If required, one or more auxiliary I/O terminal blocks can be added to provide additional field wiring connections. The auxiliary I/O terminal block is inserted directly into the lower edge of the IC200CHS015.

During installation, the user can choose to install the plug-in I/O terminals on the same DIN rail as the connector type I/O carrier, or on a separate DIN rail. Plug-in I/O terminals should be mounted on dedicated panels for specific applications that require maximum resistance to mechanical vibration and shock. Steel DIN rail is recommended.
