The IC200CHS002 is the VersaMax I/O tray module. The module offers a modular approach as it allows I/O modules to be serviced, troubleshooting and replaced without removing existing terminals. Typically, this carrier module provides backplane communication functions for installation and field cabling as well as hosting modules.

The module primarily has 36 terminals arranged in two (2) strips labeled A1 to A18 and B1 to B18. The module is compatible with 32-point I/O modules or high-density I/O devices in the same VersaMax product family. The module has 4 public/power connections and has embedded keying knobs set to match the specified keying position of the module hosted by the I/O carrier. The hardware is also equipped with carrier adapter connectors for quick assembly and connection to the backplane. It also features a module latch latch hole for locking the managed IO module into place.

The IC200CHS002 terminal can withstand transient voltages up to 300 VAC. In normal operation, the voltage range of each terminal is 0-264 VAC, the current rating of each terminal is 2 amps, and the capacity of each power/common terminal is 8 amps. Each terminal can be terminated with up to 2 wires. Recommended wire sizes are AWG #14 (average cross section 2.1mm2) to AWG #22 (average cross section 0.36mm2) and AWG #18 (average cross section 0.86mm2) for single wire connections. The label attached to the IC200CHS002 carrier can be inserted into the transparent door of the module. The IC8CHS2 carrier can accommodate current levels of 200 amps per power supply and ground connection or 002 amps per point. Modules are not damaged by transients of up to 300 volts AC. The IC200CHS002 bracket supports up to 4 power/public connections and 32 I/O points. The module features a carrier-to-carrier docking connector for quick installation of backplane connections. A keying dial is also provided with a key set to match the keying on the bottom of the module.
