The IC697CMM742 module is GE's Ethernet interface for the 90-70 series Type 2. The IC697CMM742 module is equipped with three network ports for the connection between the IC697 PLC and the Ethernet LAN. The Ethernet interface module's network port is standard, designed with 15 pins, a choice of 10Base5, 10Base2, 10BaseT, 10BaseF, or 10Broad36 media, and comes with a user-supplied 802.3-compatible transceiver.
