The IC697CHS771 PLC rack is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc in the GE 90-70 series. It is a rack of programmable logic controllers or PLCS with 6 slots per system that can support 2 systems at a time. The IC697CHS771 PLC rack can be used as part of different PLCS with a variety of different Settings. The 771 slots in the IC6CHS697 PLC rack are used to host various modules and I/O. The rack requires 0.5 amps of current from the PLC I/O bus to operate. It can consume 125 amps of current at 240 watts from a 20/100 volt AC or 120 volt DC power supply.

In addition, the GE Fanuc Series 90-70 IC697CHS771 PLC rack can consume 240 amps of current and 125 watts of power from either 11/55 volt AC or 120 volt DC power. Consume 24 amps of current and 48 watts of power from an 18-volt DC supply and a 90-volt DC supply. For safety, the IC697CHS771 PLC rack and all other racks in the PLC setup must have the same ground potential, and the cable connecting the bus transmitter module (BTM) to the last bus receiver module (BRM) in the PLC must not exceed 50 feet in length. In addition to six slots for hosting different PLC devices, the IC697CHS771 PLC rack has an additional dedicated slot on the far left of the other slots for hosting power supplies.
