The IC697ALG440 is a current extender module that can be paired with GE series 90-30 base converter modules. The complete analog subsystem includes basic converter and extender modules. The IC697ALG440 has 16 individually configurable current or voltage differential inputs. The base converter accepts bipolar or unipolar analog inputs up to 10 V at full scale. In addition, the base converter will accept 4 to 20 mA current loop signals. The IC697ALG440 provides individual user scaling for each input channel of the module. The entire subsystem accepts up to 120 inputs. Jumpers and DIP switches are not required, and fast update rates are normal for basic converters. The configuration is compatible with Windows or MS-DOS software features.
