The GE Fanuc IC693CBL319 I/O interface cable for GE Axis modules is a star-shaped interface cable designed to interconnect motion-fit shaft modules. This interface cable connects GE Axis modules, such as the IC693APU301 and IC693APU302 axis modules, to compatible drivers and controllers. These modules require 2 I/O interface cables (such as the IC693CBL319 or IC693CBL311 cable) connected to 2 24-pin male connectors on the front of each module. The IC693CBL319 I/O interface cable is provided as an assembly consisting of a 24-pin I/O connector, a cable, and a 25-pin D-terminal connector. The IC693CBL319 I/O interface cable provides a maximum cable connection of 1 meter (3 ft) between Axis modules and other drives or machines.
One end of the IC693CBL319 I/O interface cable is a 24-pin female connector for connecting to the 24-pin female Power Mate module connector, and the other end of the cable is a 25-pin type D terminal connector. To meet specific application requirements, the IC693CBL319 I/O interface cable can be replaced with the IC693CBL317 (3 m long) or IC693CBL320 (1 m long) cable. These cables (the IC693CBL317 and IC693CBL320 cables) differ from the IC693CBL319 I/O interface cables in that they come with drainage shielding wires outside the cable housing to help improve noise resistance.
