The 5136-RE-VME module is part of the Abaco Systems product family. The product range of this series of devices includes CPU boards, input and output boards, etc. These modules are the latest offerings from Abaco Systems, however, they were originally developed, produced and manufactured by GE's Industrial automation division.

This unit is designated as the 5136-RE-VME module. The 5136-SD-VME module is an interface card that provides intelligent front-end connectivity between the VMEbus main card and the Allen Bradley Programmable controller communications network.

5136-SD-VME models Each model is equipped with a coprocessor card and a set of circuits to provide a standard bus interface for the VMEbus backplane. The device is equipped with dimensions, with double height and single width measurements. The device can be connected to the VMEbus backplane via the PI connector module.

Before installing this card, be sure to ground yourself by touching a grounded object, such as a computer case. Do not touch baseboard connectors or pins. Handle cards by mounting brackets. Always store your card in a protective bag.
