The GE Fanuc IC670MDL241 input module is a discrete input module in the field control product family. It is an AC voltage module with a rated voltage of 240 volts AC. It is equipped with 16 input points divided into 2 isolation groups. Each of these isolated input groups requires an external AC power supply (1 external power supply per group, 2 external power supplies in total), while the module itself draws power from the bus interface unit or BIU on which it is installed. The inputs on the IC670MDL241 module will respond to voltage levels between 0 and 265 volts AC (47 to 63 Hz). The BIU can not only power the entire module, but also provide intelligent processing functions for the module, such as input configuration. The module can also receive intelligent processing from other locations in the system.
