The GE Fanuc IC670MDD441 I/O module is a hybrid I/O module in the GE Field Control family, with 6 outputs and 10 inputs for a total of 16 I/ OS. The IC670MDD441 I/O module is a DC module operating at 24 volts DC. Both the input and output circuits are discrete I/ OS, and they share a single line. All six outputs have short circuit protection and electronic overcurrent protection, which can sound an alarm if a short circuit or electronic overcurrent situation occurs. In the event of a failure, the output experiencing a failure is shut down and the fault is reported to the system's BIU or bus interface unit.
