GE Fanuc IC670CHS004 Thermocouple terminals are used as connection interfaces and junction compensation modules for correctly connecting millivolt class thermocouple signals to GE Fanuc I/O modules for processing such inputs. It comes out of the factory with 20 connection pins that should be properly grounded to perform its function properly.
The GE Fanuc IC670CHS004 terminal is a solid-state terminal specially designed to connect thermocouple signals to a GE Fanuc field control station. It is used as an interface that allows the reception of millivolts, like the voltage normally transmitted by temperature sensors. The terminal is used as a junction compensation circuit of the thermocouple sensor and as a field device for field control of the thermocouple module. The thermocouple sensor is connected via the screw terminal in the GE Fanuc IC670CHS004 thermocouple terminal block. Thermocouple modules are installed in different I/O terminals and require the use of proprietary wiring and connectors in order to process signals from field thermocouple sensors via GE Fanuc IC670CHS004 thermocouple terminals.
