GE Fanuc Field control IC670CBL002 Base cable is an optional cable with a length of 54.61 cm. It is used to connect GE Fanuc field control terminal blocks with keying terminals. It is an extension kit manufactured by GE Fanuc to solve the common problem of connecting two terminal blocks located on the same panel, which are often further apart than the terminal blocks in the standard setup. Due to the electrical characteristics of long and short cables, only one IC670CBL002 base connection cable is allowed per GE Fanuc field control station.

GE Fanuc IC670CBL002 Base connection cable comes from factory pre-assembly with keyed connectors designed to make false connections possible. It can be used to interconnect two GE Fanuc terminal blocks or a single GE Fanuc terminal block and its corresponding Bus Interface Unit (BIU). GE Fanuc IC670CBL002 Basic connection cable with braided ground cable for ESD protection. Both ends of the cable (ground or chassis) must be connected to zero voltage to effectively resist electrical interference or external noise.
