GE Fanuc manufactures the IC670ALG621 field control module, which is specifically designed to receive four independent analog inputs from four different RTD sensors as part of the Genius Bus control platform. Measuring temperature is an essential part of many industrial processes, and the most common method is the use of a resistance temperature detector (RTD). GE Fanuc IC670ALG621 Analog RTD Input Field Control module is a solid-state device, it is an intelligent module, it is able to receive different levels of RTD signals and interpret these readings according to pre-configured reference parameters. All required customizations can be made from the GE Fanuc BIU (Bus Interface Unit) using a handheld configuration device.
