IC695RMX128是 PACSystems RX3i 冗余内存交换模块。该模块的主要功能是充当反射内存拓扑上的单个节点,或作为冗余 RX3i CPU 对的专用内存模块。


在冗余 CPU 配置中使用时,IC695RMX128反映IC695CMX128的内容。使用反射内存链路,一个节点上的任何更新都会反映并更新到连接到同一网络的所有其他节点。通过光纤网络建立连接,支持多达 256 个节点的连接。

The IC695RMX128 is a PACSystems RX3i redundant memory switch module manufactured by Emerson Automation and formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP). The module has 128MB of SDRAM user memory and supports operation as a dedicated link between reflective memory networks or redundant configured RX3i cpus. The module comes with single-mode fiber and supports 2.12 Gbaud fiber networks.


The IC695RMX128 is a PACSystems RX3i redundant memory switch module. The main function of this module is to act as a single node on a reflected memory topology, or as a dedicated memory module for redundant RX3i CPU pairs.


When used in a redundant CPU configuration, IC695RMX128 reflects the contents of IC695CMX128. With reflective memory links, any update on one node is reflected and updated to all other nodes connected to the same network. The connection is established through the fiber optic network and supports the connection of up to 256 nodes.


The module is equipped with 128 MB of reflected memory, a fiber optic power supply requires LC type connectors and is designed for transfer speeds of up to 2.12 Gbaud. The module operates with 580 mA@3.3VDC and 220 MA@5VDC power supplies.


The IC695RMX128 is intended for redundant systems and cannot be used to perform general-purpose memory swap functions. In addition, a complete communication path must be established to complete the memory swap network. The complete communication path consists of the primary RMX unit and the corresponding secondary RMX unit. Two (2) high-speed fiber optic cables must be connected to the RMX pair and must form a 2-node ring. Because a redundant controller configuration must use a dedicated RMX module, no redundant controller design can be configured using other RMX or reflective Nides. The configuration of RMX nodes is done through programming software rather than through jumper or DIP switch Settings. This ensures centralized modification of modules and minimizes hardware outages.


The IC695RMX128 memory module is a redundant memory module in GE Fanuc Automation's RX3i PACSystems family. This module is designed for use in redundant systems with hot standby cpus, where the second CPU is used as a backup device for the primary CPU, and there is a constant data transfer between the two devices. The module runs on this reflective network and acts as a link between the two cpus. When this link is inactive or not currently in use, it is the same as the main module (that is, the IC2CMX2 module). The GE Fanuc Automation IC695RMX128 redundant memory module provides data sharing between different PCS and computing devices connected via a high-speed fiber optic network. This module has the function of network error detection.
