The IC694MDL645 is a digital input module for Emerson Automation's PACsystem RX3i family, formerly GE Intelligence Platform (GE IP). The input module is designed with sixteen (16) input channels compatible with positive or negative logic wiring. The module has a set of inputs and a common terminal. Each input channel is designed to receive an input voltage range of 0-30 VDC input range and a rated voltage of 24 VDC.
The on-state voltage of each input channel is 11.5-30 VDC, the off state voltage is 0-5VDC, and the minimum input current is 3.2 mA and the maximum input current is 1.1 mA. The module has a typical response time of 7 ms per channel and power consumption of 80 mA@5VDC and 125 mA@24VDC for the backplane bus or external supply voltage. The module also has a continuous isolation rating of 250 VAC and 1500 VAC for 1 minute. This isolation is from Field to backplane, also known as optical isolation and frame-to-ground isolation.
