The IC695CPK330 is a Programmable Automation controller (PAC) processor that is part of the PACSystem RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) product family. Manufactured by GE Fanuc/Emerson Automation, the controller features a modern, highly scalable and high-performance design as it enables high-speed I/O communications and highway addressable Remote Sensor (HART) pass-through.
The processor is equipped with 64 MB of random access memory (RAM) and 64 MB of non-volatile memory, as well as a microprocessor with 1 GHz clock speed and battery pack capability. It is also equipped with three (3) Ethernet ports, of which one (1) Ethernet port supports 10/100/1000 Mbps transfer rates and two (2) Ethernet ports are used as embedded switches, also supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps transfer rates. Supported Ethernet topologies include liner, ring, and star topologies. The processor has an energy pack feature that allows data to be written to the processor's non-volatile memory during a power failure. This prevents unnecessary erasure of user programs and provides additional on-time for the processor to perform the data transfer process. In addition, the processor supports various communication protocols such as SRTP client/SERVER, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC-UA SERVER, EGD and PROFINET.
In addition, the processor is equipped with a USB 2.0 interface that allows user programs to be downloaded from removable memory or a smartphone. This processor is designed to be twice as fast as the IC695CPK320 and supports redundancy or hot standby configurations. The processor is programmed and debugged using GE Proficy Machine Edition software or Logic Developer Programming software.
