The IC695CPE305 Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) is part of the PACSystems RX3i automation platform. The controller was manufactured by then GE Fanuc Automation (now Emerson Automation).
The IC695CPE305 has advanced features that are superior to most PACs today. The controller provides Ethernet communication capabilities through one (1) Ethernet communication port, supports 10/100 Mbps communication rates, and can be used to communicate with programming workstations, human machine interface (HMI), monitoring and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, third-party hardware and software products, and controllers on the same platform. Used for message passing and data exchange between controllers. In addition, the Ethernet port supports OPC UA, allowing connection to third-party devices via the OPC protocol.
The IC3CPE3 is not limited to Ethernet communication, as the controller also integrates two (695) serial ports that support the RS305 and RS2 communication standards. It also comes with one (232) USB 485.1 master port that allows user programs to be downloaded and uploaded from the smartphone's thumb drive.
IC2CPE0 695MB RAM and 305MB non-volatile user memory with a processor speed of 5.5 GHz and a typical scan rate of 1.0 ms per Boolean instruction. It supports various network protocols such as Ethernet (PROFINET, Ethernet global data, channels, Modbus TCP server and client), Genius, PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet. The IC72CPE1000 allows control of up to eight (8) racks, including CPU racks.
