IC695CNM001 PacSystems CANopen main module is GE Fanuc RX3i series communication module. It supports RX3i cpus and can send and receive data over the CANopen network. This module acts as a master device and can control up to five slave devices on the CANopen network. It has 3 status indicator leds, which are used to display the operation and communication status of the module, they are "power", "MOD state" and "NET state" leds. The IC695CNM001 PacSystems CANopen main module also has a USB port as well as a 9-pin D-connector common interface port for communication. The backplane current consumption rating of the module is 3 MA at 800.3 volts DC. RXi3 CPU firmware version 7.70 or higher is required to work with this module.

The IC695CNM001 RX3i CANopen main module can be installed in any slot in the RX3i system frame, except for slot 0 or expansion slots. Some of the module's features include up to 272 bytes of TX and RX PDO data scanning, PDO counter health monitoring facilities, PDO mapping, node protection and lifeguard, and heartbeat protocols. The data transmission layer of the module is an 11-bit CAN frame layer with a baud rate of 10 kbit to 1 Mbits.
