The IC695CHS007 is a universal backplane for the PACSystem RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) family. This backboard is a seven (7) slot backboard reserved for power and I/O modules. It natively supports any IO and option modules of the PACsystem RX3i series as well as the 90-30 series I/O and option modules.

IC695CHS007 slot 0 is reserved for installing the IC695 power supply. Slots 1-5 are dual connector slots that support Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) type connectors for PACSystem components such as the IC695 module and serial connectors for series 90-30 modules, especially the IC693 and IC694 modules. Slot 6, the rightmost and last slot, supports PCI only and is compatible only with RX3i modules.

The IC695CHS007 is ideal for installation space limited applications or remote I/O architecture implementation. The module is equipped with a 24 VDC terminal bar located on the left end of the rack. Backplane ground points and integrated ground points are used to connect shielding and grounding connections of the rack hosting module.
