The IC660TBA024 block is an I/O module using a current power source that is manufactured by GE Fanuc.  This analog I/O block is a terminal-only assembly with a voltage rating of 24/48 Volts DC.  The main function of the module is to power the circuits.  The circuits on the block support values that can scale linearly.  This analog I/O block is an industrial automation device that is equipped with different configurable features that include alarm detection, output hold, and selectable input conversion.  The IC660TBA024 I/O block is also advanced in terms of diagnostics and it can easily sense open wire, high/low alarms, underrange, overrange, and feedback errors.

The IC660TBA024 I/O block comes with a maximum heat dissipation of 12 Watts on a regular cycle.  The block to block and group to group isolation of the module is 1500 Volts for 1 minute and 300 Volts RMS.  The power supply voltage should range between 18 and 56 Volts DC and it has a maximum current rating of 600 milliamps.  With 24/48 Volts DC voltage, the module has a ripple of 10% maximum and the power supply drop out time is 10 milliseconds.  The module has open architecture.  The ambient temperature should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius.  The IC660TBA024 I/O block comes with alarm thresholds that can be configured for a specific input.  A message can be sent to the operators upon reaching a certain limit.  The module can also detect wiring errors and faults in the hardware.  For underrange and overrange errors, it can send an "OVERRANGE" message if a signal exceeds 25 milliamps.
