The UR-7IH from GE Multilin is a module in the general purpose relay family that provides a communication channel between two relays. These channels are LED-based and operate at 1300 nm. Channels are multimode, not single-mode.

These modules are easy to install and require only a few considerations to complete a short process to ensure that the process goes smoothly:

Unplug the control power from the relay to eliminate the risk of injury, misoperation, or system damage. After sliding the latch up or unscrewing the screw (depending on the universal relay), open the panel to the left for easy access to the module carrier.

Pull the ejector clip at the same time to release the module from its fixed position. Gently slide the module out of the slot while marking the slot on the paper; New modules must be placed in the same slot because modules can only be replaced with similar modules.
