GE Multilin's UR-4CH is a digital I/O module that allows direct, high-speed data transfer between different UR relays. The digital I/O messaging module enables real-time monitoring of system channels and diagnostic health reports for a comprehensive view of channel health.


The module also supports communication with 20 or fewer UR cells, allowing for redundancy or single loops instead of a basic point-to-point configuration. The module reduces the need for auxiliary test equipment through its built-in diagnostic capabilities. The module also provides connectivity to the standard D703 channel group.


Users can configure direct I/O messaging by editing system Settings, whether using the keyboard and LCD or the EnerVista UR software program.
