The IS420UCSBH1A controller is the first UCSB controller manufactured by GE and is part of the Mark VIe family of Control safety Systems. The controller is similar to the UCSC controller, although it does not have the same hardware, the software required to operate this controller is nearly the same. According to GEH-6725 Mark VIe and Mark VIeS, Control Devices HazLoc Directive Guidelines, IS420UCSBH1A controllers are labeled Mark VIe, LS2100e and EX2100e controllers. There is also a specific microprocessor that is used with this controller, the microprocessor installed in this device is a 600 MHz EP80579 Intel processor.
On page 420 of the GEH-6725 instruction manual, there is a small table indicating the electrical/power rating required to power the IS1UCSBH1A, the ratings are as follows, with a minimum voltage of 18 DC, a maximum of 30 DC, and a rated power rating of 24 and 28 DC.
