The IC695CPU310 is a 3 MHz CPU from the GE Fanuc RX300i series. The IC695CPU310 has an Intel Celeron (Pentium III) microprocessor with 10 MB of RAM and 10 MB of flash memory. It also has a pair of embedded serial ports for RS-232 and RS-485 communication. The two ports face the front of the chassis for easy access. The IC695CPU310 supports three different Serial protocols (Modbus RTU Slave, SNP, and Serial I/O), all of which are used in conjunction with programmable logic controllers to build the way the PLC provides information: The IC695CPU310 uses the SNP slave protocol to communicate with HMI (Human Machine Interface) devices.
Eight leds on the front of the case allow you to see the status of the system at a glance so you can tell if the CPU, battery, and communication channels are working as expected.
