Ge manufactured the 531X191RTBAKG3 card for use as a relay terminal board. The device was developed as a member of the 531X series replacement driver board. Since it serves as a replacement board, many older models of GE drives can have this card installed in their drive cabinets. When this card is installed, the host drive has two functions. The relay terminal board provides the driver with seven relay contacts on the board, as well as direct access to on-board contacts and coils.

There are many integrated functions on the relay terminal board. Installing the 531X191RTBAKG3 board provides seven relay points for the installed drive. External circuits connected to the board can be controlled using these relays. It can also tabulate RTB points and relay contacts. All coil and contact ratings were developed for the G3 version of the board. Each relay contains a coil with a rated voltage of 115 VAC and a frequency rate of 50/60 Hz. The contacts in the relay are rated for 2.4A current and rated for 28 VDC or 125 VAC. The board has a maximum surge current of 25 mA, while the holding current is rated at 14 mA.
