The 531X187VCTABH1 is a voltage and current sensor card developed by General Electric for the 531X board family. Originally, the card was designed to operate adjustable-speed drives in the AC-300, DC-300 and AC-500 series drive products. Now, the board can be placed in almost any drive product operation drive, just installed in a different mounting location than the series listed earlier. The sensor card can operate by converting an input voltage signal into an isolated current or isolated voltage signal.

The board provides a switching point for the voltage input. The 531X187VCTABH1 includes two isolated outputs, labeled ATB and BTB on the board. The two isolated power supplies come from a 24 VDC power supply fed to the board. Each isolated power supply supplies the output of both channels. Configurable points on the board allow users to adjust functions to the needs of individual job loads. A switch located on the card allows adjustment of the input level required to produce a full-scale output.
