 The 531X1821FGAGG1 is a VA-5 variable frequency ignition generator manufactured by General Electric. The 531X1821FGAGG1 uses 531 chips to store information encoded to tell the board what to do and when. Chips are also referred to in various manuals as microchips or integrated circuits (abbreviated IC). The 1821X1FGAGG531 has seven male connections. These connection points are used with various wiring harnesses to allow communication between the 1821X1FGAGG531 and adjacent boards. To hold the 1821X1FGAGG531 in place, there are eight holes around the board. The 1821X1FGAGG531 uses capacitors of various sizes and shapes (also called capacitors in written manuals in English) to store energy in its electric field for later access by the board. The 1821X1FGAGG531 has several transistors that help amplify the signal around the board. The 1821X1FGAGG531 uses multiple diodes to direct the flow of energy. Each diode has a line near one end.
