 The 531X128HMSAGG1 is a General Electric Company VA-4 MOV card. The 531X128HMSAGG1 has 9 dark brown resistors with multiple color bands. In electronic circuits, resistors have many uses, such as reducing current, regulating signal levels, dividing voltage, biasing active components, and terminating transmission lines. The band on the resistor corresponds to a color code. Each color band corresponds to a color in the code that gives a numerical value. These values are then used in an equation to calculate the amount of energy the resistor can limit. The 531X128HMSAGG1 has 15 vertical metal tips around the circuit board.
