The GE Fanuc IC693BEM334 Genius Bus Controller is a solid state module of the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 or Series 90-70 programmable logic controllers (PLCS), providing a gateway to connect to the Genius I/O bus. It serves as a connection point and communication interface for Genius I/O hosts to send and receive discrete, analog, or dedicated signals to series 90-30 or 90-70 PLCS to control industrial machinery or application processes. Up to 31 GE Fanuc IC693BEM334 Genius Bus controllers can be connected to a single series of 90-30 or 90-70 PLCS, with each Genius Bus controller forming a separate genius bus network or branch that can communicate with the PLC, but not with other similar networks or branches.
