The GE Fanuc IC693BEM332 module is a genius I/O bus interface module that connects remote field devices via Factory Instrumentation Protocol (FIP). The interface module uses a transmission speed of 2.5 MHz, and it gets 5 volts DC power from the series 90-30 PLC series backplane connection with a rated current of 300 mA. The GE Fanuc IC693BEM332 FIP I/O interface module acts as the main controller module in industrial networks using the factory Instrumentation Protocol and is also the main communication gateway between the field equipment and the programmable logic controller.
