The IC693APU302 is a two-axis positioning module (APM) primarily used as a motion and position control component. The module is capable of controlling two (2) axes or two (2) servo motors to achieve simultaneous control of motion and position. The module is a smart module that can be configured for both standard and follow modes. In standard mode, the module operates and integrates control with the user logic present in the PLC memory to achieve high performance control. In servo mode, the module offers high performance electronic drivetrains for master and slave applications. The module is downloaded with a configuration developed using the Motion Programmer package or VersaPro software with a minimum software version of 1.1. The front panel of the module is fitted with two (2) moving-shaft ports and two (2) 25-pin high-density ports via 9-pin D-shell connectors, designed to accommodate servo connections. Custom cables can be used to establish a connection to the module, but pre-assembled cables can also be purchased for faster wiring and termination. These cables include IC693CBL311, which is 10 feet /3 meters long; IC693CBL319 with cable length 3 ft /1 m; The IC693CBL317 has a length of 10 feet /3 meters, as well as 8 "externally shielded pigtails, and the IC693CBL320 has a cable length of 3 feet /1 meter and 8" externally shielded pigtails.
