The IC693ALG390 is a GE series 90-30 PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) module. The module is an analog output module with two (2) output channels capable of providing a voltage output signal from -10 to +10 VDC. The module is ideal for automatic and manual control of closed-loop control systems, as well as sending signals to receiving and measuring instruments. It can also be used with a data logger.
The IC693ALG390 module has a resolution of 2.5 mV, where 2.5 mV is equal to 1 LSB, an absolute accuracy of ±5 mV at 25°C(77°F) and a maximum offset of 1 mV at 0 to 60°C(32° to 140°F). The module has an update rate of 5 ms on both channels, which is directly affected by the I/O scan time and user program structure. The module also features built-in isolation between the 1500 VDC rated field side and the logical side.
The module can also provide an acceptable voltage ripple of 10% by providing an external voltage supply range of 18 to 30 VDC with a nominal power supply of +24 VDC from an isolated, +24 VDC on the backplane or a user-supplied voltage source, and +5 VDC on the backplane. The acceptable voltage ripple is 10%.
When the CPU switches to STOP or RESET mode, the module can be configured to hold the last state value or provide 0VODC output. This configuration is set via the DEF0 jumper located on the removable terminal block. By default, modules are set to remain in the final state of the module.
The IC693ALG390 2-channel analog voltage output module offers 2 terminal connectors for use with a user-supplied 24-volt PLC power supply.
