IC660BBA026 belongs to Genius I/O of an independent Block module. Currently manufactured by Emerson Automation, GE Fanuc Automation has been acquired by the former. The IC660BBA026 retains its functionality with six (6) built-in analog input channels, support for current source wiring, and a resolution of 6µA.
As part of the Genius I/O block system, the IC660BBA026 has a built-in Genius Bus communication interface, enabling the module to stand alone as a complete remote I/O module, capable of sending and receiving I/O data to the master controller through its own configuration. It has a rackless design that eliminates the need for a backplane or chassis, providing maximum flexibility for available mounting methods. This I/O block can be mounted on the right side up or upside down, inside a housing that provides protection against air, industrial pollutants.
The IC660BBA026 can be configured to connect to the same multi-plug network. If used with multiple instances of the module or the same product family, the IC660BBA026 must be 2 inches apart. In addition, the terminal resistor must be installed on the first and last node, across the serial 1 and serial 2 terminals.
