The GE power connection board 531X122PCNALG1 is an updated part of the original power connection board. To ensure that the GE power connector 531X122PCNALG1 is compatible with multiple original boards, two jumpers must be configured. The jumpers are JP1 and JP2, which are configured with a DC armature voltage range. To set the G1 voltage to 500 volts DC and G2 to 700 volts DC, you can keep the jumper pins for future use. If the G1 voltage is set to 240vdc and G2 voltage is set to 550vdc, insert a jumper to pin P3 and pin P4. For JP2, insert the jumper into the P5 and P6 pins.
To replace an existing circuit board, you must first disconnect all power to the driver. You may need to consult with someone familiar with the installation to ensure that all power is disconnected.
